So our adventure begins!
We left Elk City late morning and arrived at Root Ranch much too quickly! Those youth who were nervous, soon began to enjoy the adventure. Flying in the little 6 seater plane was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done!
We set up camp and began our work here. The horsefly’s are huge but we don’t have to fight the gnats (no-see-ums).
The hosts are wonderful and the food is fabulous!
