We all survived the night. It cooled off and was pretty chilly for some of us. Our day began at 6:00 am. I am pleasantly surprised to announce that I didn’t have to get mad to get everyone to go to bed at a decent time and I didn’t have to get anyone up! We all had a wonderful breakfast and set to work.
It is beautiful here in the middle of the wilderness. I’m sure the other guests were impressed when we started sawing at 7:00 am. Everyone knows what we are doing and the shareholders that are here, Dave and Beth, love what we are doing and how is it looking.
I’m also pleased to say that our crew jumps if asked to do anything. We have been drawing two lucky names from a hat each day and those two individuals get to do the dinner dishes. There has been no complaining at all and I am very pleased with everyone’s behavior.
It has been hot during the day and we are grateful for a cool breeze that blows most of the time. Repel works really well for the horseflies, thankfully! 🙂
The food is more than fabulous and we are all being spoiled. I’ve never had so much dessert in my life! Beth is the best cook ever!!! Thank you Beth and Katie!!
