Tucked away in the Clearwater Mountains of North Central Idaho, State and Federal Land Management Agencies have partnered with a rural nonprofit organization to save our national forest and the community within.

Forest restoration and hazardous fuels reduction projects, funded by private foundation and government grants, thin an overcrowded forest and disrupt a severe insect (pine beetle) infestation. The dead, dying and small diameter trees removed during treatment creates jobs on the ground and through the manufacture of value - added wood products.

Donated funds and purchase of these quality products enables us (Framing Our Community) to continue improving the health of our forest, reduce wildfire danger, teach restoration skills to local workers and create jobs at our Small Business Incubator.

FOC works collaboratively with the Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management and environmental organizations to restore the pristine beauty of our national forests for generations to come.
